The School of Excellence in Law came into existence in the year 2002 in Chennai. The SOEL is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Chennai which is duly accredited by the BCI and NAAC as well as recognized by the UGC. LL.M	Completion of their 3yr or 5yr-degree courses in the field of law is eligible for admission in this course.	45% in Graduation

AIR Law Café: The purpose of AIR LAW CAFÉ was designed on the foundation of better grades, and placements from numerous agencies in India or outside of India, and also to understand the hurdles in the professional sector.
Hostel facilities: There are different and well-maintained hostels for both girls and boys. The hostels have the necessary infrastructure from dining halls to reading halls, from uninterrupted water supply to stable internet connection and with television too. However, the accommodation in the hostels is subject to the availability of the rooms.
Moot court: The Moot Court Association was established with a vision to develop and advance the craft of practical oral advocacy amongst the students of the University, to amplify and increase the courtroom experience, and to give students practical study exposure.
